CRISPY PORK CHOP

Ingredients:

2-3 pieces pork chops

2 eggs

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup bread crumbs 

1 tablespoon cornstarch

1 ½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

Cooking oil

Lemon wedges 

 

Cooking:

Rub salt and pepper all over the pork chops.

Place it in a zip lock bag and store in the refrigerator for a couple of hours if time permits, if not minimum 10 minutes at room temperature.

Pour cooking oil in a wide cooking pot and then heat up the oil.

Meanwhile combine flour and cornstarch in a wide plate and mix well.

Crack the eggs in a bowl. Beat until the texture becomes smooth.

Coat a piece of pork chop in the flour mixture.

Dip it in the bowl with egg making sure that every inch is covered with beaten egg.

Coat the pork chop with bread crumbs.

Once the oil is hot, slowly put the pork chop in the cooking pot.

Cook in medium heat for 12 to 15 minutes or until surface is golden brown.

Serve with your favourite sides and drizzle the pork chops with lemon juice.
